GMO is pleased to partner with Cornerstone Baptist Church in Swartz Creek, Michigan, to minister once again in the central plateau region of Haiti.  This year, we will be building a Christian school in Grand Latanye that will service the children of several villages!

                          MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

                         GRAND LATANYE

Can you immagine going to school every
day in a building like this?  In Grand
Latanye, Haiti,  this is where all the high
school students meet to learn reading,
    writing, language, math,  and other
essential skills to try to get out of
    poverty.   The greatest lesson learned
in this small school is the Gospel of Jesus
    Christ!

The school is led by Pastor Makaron, a Hatian national pastor and ministry partner with WFTW Missionaries Fred and Joyce Wall.   It provides the perfect opportunity to share the Gospel with the young people of Haiti!

With the population growth in the area since the Great Quake of 2010, Pastor Makaron sought Pastor Wall's help in building a new church and school in their village.  Pastor Wall then contacted GMO to see if we could help in any way.   The Lord opened the door for GMO to work with Cornerstone Baptist Church in Swartz Creek, Michigan to finish this project for the village.

Team members from Cornersone Baptist Church

Over the course of 9 days, this team successfully constructed and installed all 55 trusses on the new 5,000 square foot, 7 class room, concrete school building!  Our medical team also opened the clinic and saw dozens of patients right there in the village as work progressed on the new school.

"I can not express to you their appreciation and excitement of the new school. At present there are 140 students in the school as I type with over 300 already pre registered for 2012 (350 being the maximum the school will hold allowing 50 to a class) Those of you who have been here can attest to "there is always room for 1 more" so don`t be surprised to learn the 2012 school year will find over 400 in the school. This is the O N L Y high school that requires Bible as a subject for every student and it has to be passed in order to graduate. There are Bible devotions every morning and the Bible class 3 days a week. The full impact this school will have in the lives of these young people is yet to be determined. Psm 119:9 is the only hope of the younger generation to have a POSITIVE influence in Haiti.  May God bless each and everyone of you for your making it a reality. Because he lives. Bro. wall 1Cor.15:58" - Pastor Fred Wall
